What you presented was well researched and well written to get your stand on this over to all your readers. Thanks a lot my dear. Portable cabin
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16780707617906720016noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5461857684201387821.post-6527036067191456182010-03-12T00:56:02.407-08:002010-03-12T00:56:02.407-08:00Thanks for the shout out!!
I agree, blogging real...Thanks for the shout out!!

I agree, blogging really is for the happiness of the writer. I've been blogging for just over 2 years now and for the majority of the time, I didn't have a single follower. It was pretty much just an accessible way to journal. I've always been the type to keep a journal and having one online just made the process faster--seeing as how most people type faster than they write.

I actually didn't start getting followers until this past year, really and all of them are people that I know outside of the blog world. I'm sure others have stumbled upon my blog, just because it's open to the web and it's listed on my facebook and twitter accounts and sometimes I write about a popular topic. But as far as I know, I have like 10 people may read or glance at my blog when I post. And about half of them comment on a post.

My way of dealing with blogging, is that it's *my* blog. So, for the most part, I talk about myself and things I'm interested in. If I tell a story that has to do with me and another person, I usually don't name them outright.

You kind of just have to find what works for you. I've read some blogs where people name friends, family and foes without a second thought, it seems. I just understand that some people may not want their name out there.

I started doing themed posts. So, during the week I post something for the themes and on the weekend I do personal life updates. I guess it's all about finding a balance.

I liked this post and I might have to go watch that episode of House.J.
