I'm very happy to have read this many books this year. Much, much more than I managed to read last year. And because of the many duplicates I read (audiobooks along with print/electronic books), GoodReads actually says I met my goal! So while I may have re-read a couple books, and technicalities work in my favor, I'm still very happy to have accomplished all I did for this challenge.
1. Grave Mercy ~ Robin LaFevers
This one, not so much. This was yet another thing that I left until the last minute (like I said I wouldn't) and then didn't do anything with. I have a bunch of these books sitting on my shelf, waiting to be read, but my attention is a little easily distracted by shiny new books or new deals. I suppose I might try again next year with an even smaller goal, but it'll probably depend on the books listed...

Two challenges, same premise. I did the maximum goals for the first and met its goals, but narrowly missed out on the second. I've always enjoyed and appreciated audiobooks, so this challenge was not only fun to do but also helpful in reaching my other goals. No doubt I wouldn't have read as many books had I not had helpful voices whispering in my ears. So, expect another audiobook challenge or two to pop up next year, and hopefully I'll meet all my goals.

2. Kitty and the Midnight Hour ~ Carrie Vaughn
I am a horrible book hoarder. I literally have dozens of physical books, and hundreds of electronic ones collecting dust on my shelves. I'm actually considering opening up my Amazon collection as a lending library, if I can get the logistics down. I know you can loan Amazon books, I just don't know if there's a limit to how much you can do it or how many...

I'm very happy to have gone above an beyond the call of duty on this one. Not only did I decide to count different authors instead of just books (a decision I nearly regretted), but I still managed to read more than the challenge dictated on both counts. 23 books by 18 different authors.
